Fee of patent filing in Vietnam nearly depends on translation fee, number of independent claims, and length of Vietnamese specification.
When clients would like to file national phase entry Vietnam patent application, they will be charged with following fee:
1. Filing patent application
– Additional fee for pages from 6th one
– Additional fee for each independent claim from the second one (if any).
2. Publication of patent application
3. Substantive examination request (inclusive of information search)
– Additional fee for each independent claim from the second one (if any).
4. Claiming priority right (02 priorities)
5. Granting patent for invention (including Register and Publication)
– Additional fee for each independent claim from the second one (if any)
6. Vietnamese translation fee
