With regard to the business line of architecture, according to the commitment of Vietnam to WTO, foreign investor can set up a 100% foreign owned company with detail business lines stated in the CPC 8671 [Central Product Classification issued by United Nations Statistic Division] including:
1, Advisory and pre-design architectural services and
2.Architectural design services.
However, according to the regulation of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, at the first step of setting up the newly set-up company, investor has to hire Vietnamese employees that he/she has the architectural certificate issued by the competent authority of Vietnam.
Referring to the architectural certificates, there has 12 sub-certificates as below:
1. Structural designing;
2. Electrical designing;
3. Electro-engineering designing;
4. Water supply-drainage designing;
5. Thermo-supply designing;
6. Ventilation and air-conditioning designing;
7. Designing of information and communica-tion networks within construction works;
8. Fire prevention and fighting designing;
9. Designing for other disciplines.
10. Architectural designing;
11. Interior and exterior designing;
12. Construction planning designing.
Please be noted that the newly set-up company will only be allowed to do business lines relating to content of certificate of employees that you will have hired.
The Foreign Owned company have been not yet allowed to do the business line of Construction planning design.
