Client: Hello there, I have read about how to open a tour company (an inbound one) from your web-site, now i have this question in my mind.
I expect you, as a professional law firm, to inform me about the following please:
1) how much does it cost to get the related licenses?
2) how many license does one need to be able to open his/her travel agent legally?
3) After one get the licenses then, can the owner work online only, or, this is required to have a physical office?
4) how much your lawyer ask to get the licenses on behalf of us?
5) Under the which name is the license going? My viet partner or both of us (1 Vietnamese and 1 foreigner)

Lawyer: This is reference to your email below. Regarding to your questions, please find our comments as follows:
1. Our professional fee for establishment of foreign invested tourism company shall be from 5,000USD to 7,000USD. The fee is exclusive of 10% VAT, expense for translating documents from English into Vietnamese (10USD/300 words) and governmental fee.
2. The tour agency shall need Investment Certificate from the Competent Authority only.
3. The Owner must have a physical office.

5. You must undergo the procedure for investment registration. Final result of this is the Investment Certificate for the Joint Venture Company between you and your Vietnamese Partner. We also would like to note that under Vietnam Tourism Law, the Vietnamese Partner must be an Enterprise who has been granted International Travel Business License.
