Q: Do you think there will be a chance that foreign ownership restriction in the transportation sector might be loosened at least towards investors from ASEAN countries following AEC integration?
A: According to my opinion, AEC shall not help much in this case. Purpose of AEC is to create an integral market for ASEAN, such as removal of tax tariff, appliance of united technical standard and freedom on transferring of laborers.. Thus, it shall does not help loosing conditions for setting up commercial presence of ASEAN Companies in Vietnam.
