Answen: This is reference to your email below. I am Lawyer of SB Law. I was entrusted to provide you legal advice regarding to setting up trading company in Vietnam.
We understand that you intend to setup trading company for importation of frozen food in Vietnam.
If so, you need to obtain an Investment Certificate for your investment project in Vietnam.
It shall take you about 03 months from the date of submission of application dossier to competent authority to obtain the Investment Certificate.
Then, you shall setup the Company and obtain the Certificate of Business Registration which shall take you about 05 working days to complete.
For trading company, there is no minimum capital rate required. Based on your registered products which shall be imported and traded by your company, you have to estimate required capital amount to run such business for a long term. If your estimated investment capital is not sufficient, the competent authority shall recommend you to increase the investment capital.
According to our practical experience, an amount of 500,000USD shall be considerable.
We also would like to note that Vietnam does not encourage importation of frozen fishes, beef, pork etc.
Thus, you may face with challenge if you need to obtain license for importing such goods. For providing you accurate advice, please send us list of goods/products to be imported with HS Code.
Our professional fee is also based on complexity of each case. However, our minimum rate for this trading company shall be 8,000USD.
We do hope that the above information is helpful for you. We are looking forward to hearing from you soon.
