I would like to know the process ie what type of license and cost of the licenses.
Answer:
In Vietnam, regarding to logistic services, you can setup 100% foreign owned company for providing (i) Warehouse services; (ii) Transportation Agency Service. However, if you wishes to carry out transportation service or custom clearance service, you shall have to joint venture with Vietnamese Partner.
Generally, for setting up warehouse service company, you shall be required to obtain following licenses:
(i) Certificate of Investment Registration
(ii) Certificate of Enterprise Registration
However, if you intend to setup a bonded warehouse, you shall have to obtain sub-license for such bonded warehouse after setting up company.
