I am providing certification consulting or agent such as cFDA, FDA and UL etc.
Some of my customers asked Vietnamese cosmetic registration for their cosmetic products such as Suncream, Shampoo and cream.
Could you let me know estimated cost and period for the cosmetic registration ?

For proclamation of cosmeticproducts in Vietnam, our fee shall be 450USD/01 product (inclusive of governmental fee).
However, the fee is not inclusive of 10% VAT and additional fee for preparing explanation letter for conditional ingredients in cosmetic products, if any (300USD/01 explanation letter).
Total time for proclamation of cosmetic product in Vietnam is 1 month from submission of application dossier.
However, in practice, it can be a little bit longer due to that the examiner may need more time for further explanation.
We also would like to note that under Vietnam Law, in order to proceed with proclamation of cosmetic products, you must have a company duly established and operating in Vietnam. This company shall act as Importer and the proclamation of cosmetic product shall be registered under the name of such Importer.
