From February 17, 2017, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs only have 23 affiliated units, reduced by 01 unit compared with previous regulations is the important content in the Decree No. 14/2017/ND-CP dated February 17, 2017 of the Government on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
Within that the Orthopedics and Rehabilitation is no more under the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. Ministerial Inspectorate and Ministerial Office are renamed Inspectorate and Office; the Department of Saving and Caring Children is renamed by the Department of Children. The General Department of Vocation is renamed by General Department of Vocational Education. Other 18 affiliated units are stayed the same such as Department of Social Security; Department of Gender Equality; Legal Department; Department of Overseas Labor Management; Department of Labor Safety; Department of Employment….
The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs shall provide guidelines for registration and management of operation of employee representatives as prescribed by labor law; discharge the duties of national-level contact point in terms of labor sector in the course that Vietnam entering into international trade agreements; provide guidelines for wages, bonuses, and remuneration paid to employees and managers working in state-owned enterprises, state-invested enterprises; promulgate charters of junior colleges, professional secondary schools vocational education centers; regulations of enrollment and training; regulations on exams, tests, and graduation assessment…
This Decree takes effect on the signing date.
