Quetion: I am a US person living in Ho Chi Minh City since 2011, currently working on starting a home décor and clothing business.
Part of this business is intended to be wholesale for the Swiss and European market and, for doing so, I’m setting up a company based in Switzerland.
But another part of the business would be retail and online-based (e-commerce) and managed directly from Vietnam.
Would a Sole Proprietorship be a good choice for me? If so, could you assist me in this process, and tell me what are the procedures and fees involved?
Answer: We understood your business plan now. For retailed sale of clothing products in Vietnam, you should setup a limited company of which you are the sole owner.

For above purpose, you shall firstly lease a suitable office in an office building or a commercial center. Then, you shall setup company with head office address in such building. It shall take you about 27 working days to complete setting up company. After setting up the company, you shall have to obtain a trading license for conducting retailed sale of clothing product.
Our proposed cost for assisting establishment of such company is 5,600USD. The fee is exclusive of VAT (10%) and actual cost for translating your documents from English into Vietnamese (10USD/150 words).
