Question: We need work visa,Business visa in Vietnam, please advise.
Answer: I was entrusted to provide you legal advice regarding to obtainment of work permit for foreign employee.
Under Vietnam Law, foreigners who enter into Vietnam for working shall be required to obtain work permit. In order to obtain work permit, such foreigners must satisfy following conditions:
+ Foreigner must work for an entity duly established and operating under Vietnam Law in accordance with services or employment contract.
+ Foreigner must hold certificate or diploma in the related field for proving his/her qualification for proposed job in Vietnam. Such Certificate or Diploma must be legalized. Please note that Diploma is much more preferred.
+ Foreigner must have experience in the field. This must be proved by Confirmation Letter issued by former employer.
+ Foreigner must hold clean criminal record and Health Certificate.
Our fee for obtaining work permit shall be 860USD. The fee is exclusive of 10% VAT and cost for translating documents from English into Vietnamese (10USD/150 words) and cost for traveling out of HN and HCMC.
Generally, it shall take us about 28 working days from submission of application dossier to the competent authority to obtain work permit.
