Foreign investor: We are a Hong Kong based company and would like to set up a representative office in Vietnam. I would appreciate if you could answer my following questions please:
1. Can you please confirm whether it is possible for a Hong Kong registered company to open a representative office in Vietnam. Our business registration certificate is only valid for one year at a time and is currently due to expire 18th January 2015.
2. Can you please confirm what documents you would require in order to proceed.
3. Can you please outline all costs involved in setting up the representative office and also any ongoing yearly costs.
4. Can you please confirm the expected time it would take to open the representative office.
Many thanks for your help. I look forward to hearing from you.
