Question: We are interested in establishing of the representative office of our company in Hanoi. My boss has two companies, one is registered in Thailand, the other is registered in Republic of Seychelles, so he wants to know more about the details about setting up a representative office.

4. two different company in two countries, which one would be better?

In our opinion, you should use the company in Thailand to setup representative office in Vietnam as we shall require you to provide us audited financial statement of the parent company for the last year or any official letter of the competent authority in your country stating that parent company has fulfilled all its tax obligations in your Country.
