Question: I am contacting you because we have a new client interested to setup a manufacturing unit in Southeast Asia. North Vietnam, and in particular Dong Nai, is amongst the options we are currently considering.
We are currently looking for a local partner who could assist us with such project.
The business would be manufacturing powder coatings (mainly polyester thermosetting powder coating). The production would start around 50 metric tons and be increased to 150 metric tons within a couple of years. In terms of manpower, the company expect to start with around 50/60 permanent employees, to be increased to 200 employees if everything goes well.
Do you have experience with such type of business? If so, could you let me know what would be the manufacturing permits/licences to be obtained for such project?
Do you also have suggestions in terms of industrial parks/special economic zones where we could register the company in Haiphong (or alternative locations you would recommend)?
