Support Policy for employees affected by Covid-19

Dear Valued Client,

On September 24^th, 2021, the Government issued Resolution 116/NQ-CP on the support policy for employees and employers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic from the Unemployment Insurance Fund.

Accordingly, support in cash shall be made to those as follows:

– Employee who already participated in Unemployment Insurance on September 30^th, 2021;

(Excluding employees working in state agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations, people’s armed forces units and public non-business units whose recurrent expenditures are guaranteed by the state budget).

– Employees who ceased to participate in Unemployment Insurance due to the termination of labor contract or employment contract between January 1^st, 2021 and the end of September 30^th, 2021, and have the time for payment of Unemployment Insurance reserved (excluding employee with monthly pension).

The financial support based on the time for payment of Unemployment Insurance and not yet to enjoy the unemployment benefits is as follows:

– Time of paying unemployment insurance under 12 months: support 1,800,000 VND/person.

– Time of paying unemployment insurance from full 12 months to less than 60 months: support 2,100,000 VND/person.

– Time of paying unemployment insurance from full 60 months to less than 84 months: support 2,400,000 VND/person.

– Time of paying unemployment insurance from full 84 months to less than 108 months: support 2,650,000 VND/person.

– Time of paying unemployment insurance from full 108 months to less than 132 months: support 2,900,000 VND/person.

– Time of paying unemployment insurance from full 132 months and more: support 3,300,000 VND/person.

Support for employees shall be executed from October 1^st, 2021 and made complete on December 31^st, 2021 at the latest.
